Enter your salary below to view tax deductions and take home pay, and figure out exactly how much money you're left with at the end of the month. These figures are only for people born after April 1948.

PAYE Tax Allowance
£11,000 per year
Basic Rate Tax (20%)
on annual earnings from £11,001 to £43,000
Higher Rate Tax (40%)
on annual earnings from £43,001 to £100,000
Personal allowance is reduced by 50% of income over £100,000
(i.e. earnings of £122,000 would reduce personal allowance to nil)
Income between £122,000 and £150,000 are taxed at 40%
Additional Tax
45% on annual earnings above £150,000
