Understanding your situation
At Ward Williams Financial Services Ltd we believe that we can only offer the best advice to you if we fully understand your circumstances and what you want to achieve. This means that in our meetings, and when we speak to you, we try to get as much information about you as we can. This is not just factual information – we also try and listen carefully not just to what you are saying, but how you are saying it, so that we can match our advice to your specific requirements.
Your views and what you want from your finances are likely to change as your life changes, so we know that it is important that we carry on listening to you so that we can change our advice if required.
Analysis and Design of your strategy
Once we know what you want from your financial planning, we can analyse the information that we have from you and from studying your existing financial situation, policies etc. and then we can design a financial strategy and investment plan that meets your needs.
We also look at your tax situation to ensure that we find the most tax efficient solutions and we pay great attention to your Attitude to Risk and Capacity for Loss to make sure we match our investment recommendations to your risk profile and Capacity for Loss.
Presentation of your recommendation
Our preferred method of communicating our recommendations is through the preparation of a Financial Planning Report. This provides you with a base document from which to look at your current financial position in one place and from which you can make fully informed decisions.
We always try and write in a way that is easily understood and take great care in explaining our recommendations and technical terms, so you are comfortable with our recommendations.
The value of investments can go down as well as up and you may get back less than the amount invested.
